Rev. Dr. Renea Brathwaite is an experienced academic administrator, theologian, speaker, and ordained minister, who currently serves Vanguard University as the founding Dean of the School of Theology and Ministry and Chief Diversity Officer. Dr. Brathwaite holds advanced degrees in theology and has a passion for developing wholesome communities and for centering transformative, Spirit-filled teaching as the duty of responsible Christian education. Dr. Brathwaite was born in Barbados and has lived in Trinidad and Tobago as well as in several regions throughout the United States. He has been happily married to Joy for over 30 years and they have two adult children.
